As if to give a finger to the wannabe dictatorship of the Trump administration, US companies seem to have found a very firm backbone with which they're now standing up and making ads that resonate powerfully on social justice issues and issues deeply affecting the consumers of their products around the world.

 

This latest ad by Nike is a masterpiece. It contrasts the equality which exists on the sports field, with the inequality that exists off the sports field and asks the simple question...WHY?

Pretoria - Listed cement and lime producer PPC improved its broad based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) contributor level to Level 4 from Level 8 in December because of a new empowerment transaction.

A judge in the Cape Town High Court on Tuesday displayed such blatant lack of empathy and arrogance with a complete disregard for the poor that it raises concerns about how our judicial system is still frought with systemic racism.

In his spate of remarks, Judge Leslie Weinkove shows that he clearly has no clue or simply chooses to ignore the impact which Systemic & Structural Racism has on the majority of South Africa's population.
Irrespective of the merits of the case, his attitude continues to uphold and is in fact a manifestation of the Systemic & Structural Racism which we need to eradicate.
